The expanders may have dull or blunt needle tips that are difficult to advance through tissue. If the needle breaks during use, it could cause injury or complications.
Women who own or use Artoura breast tissue expanders with the listed model numbers are affected. Those with larger expanders (over 300cc) may be at higher risk due to the needle size.
Check the product model numbers: SDC-100H, SDC-110H, SDC-120H, SDC-130H, SDC-135H, SDC-140H, SDC-150H, or SDC-155H. These expanders come in sizes from 225cc to 850cc.
