Description: This recall involves Crownplace Brands’ Aladdin MaxBrite kerosene lamp burners. The solid brass lamp burners measure about four inches tall and three inches in diameter. The burner thread is about 3/8 inches long (about 9mm). “Aladdin MAXBrite500” is printed on the burner knob. The patent number is 3551086. “Aladdin” and the patent number are printed on the barrel of the burner.
Hazard Description: The kerosene lamp burner’s threads can disengage, allowing the burner to disconnect from the base, posing burn and fire hazards to the user.
