  • Incidents: Char-Broil has received 26 reports of the burner flame going out and then unexpectedly reigniting when the consumer turned the control knob to "OFF."  The 26 reports include four reports of burns, including one with burns to the nose, chin and hair, and seven other reports of "burned" or "singed" hair.  

  • Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the grills and contact Char-Broil for instructions on how to order and install a free repair kit.
