Incidents: No incidents of jacket wrist cuffs overheating were reported in the U.S. The firm received reports of one incident in Europe and one in Canada. No injuries were reported.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the heated jackets and check the style number to determine if they are part of the recall. Those with recalled jackets should disconnect both batteries from the electrical connections inside the battery pouches and contact Columbia Sportswear for a full refund with proof of purchase.
