Description: The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Incidents: AmerTac has received 18 reports of the night lights smoking, burning, melting and/or charring, including three reports of minor property damage and one of a minor burn injury.
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the recalled night lights immediately and unplug them from the wall. Contact the firm for instructions on receiving a full refund.
Sold At: Hardware stores, lighting showrooms and home centers nationwide from March 2009 through January 2011 for about $7.
