Description: WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Scag Power Equipment, of Mayville, Wis. is voluntarily recalling about 16,000 Scag Tiger Cub riding lawn tractors. Fuel can leak out of the carburetor, posing a risk of fire and burn injuries.Name of product: Scag Tiger Cub Riding Lawn Tractors Units: About 16,000 Manufacturer: Scag Power Equipment, of Mayville, Wis. Hazard: Fuel can leak out of the carburetor, posing a risk of fire and burn injuries. Incidents/Injuries: Scag is aware of 20 incidents, all of which involved fires and damage to tractors. Two consumers received minor burn injuries to their hands as a result of trying to put out fires involving these lawn tractors.Description: The recalled zero-turn-radius riding lawn tractors are "Cat's Eye Gold" with black trim, and have a vinyl seat. The body of the tractor has "Scag Tiger Cub" written in red on the side and front of the tractor.
