  • Description: In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Playworld Systems Inc., of Lewisburg, Pa. is voluntarily recalling about 1,500 Arch Swings and Arch Swing Add-A-Bays. The weld between the side arch support and the top rail can fail. If that happens, the swings can collapse, causing children on the swings to fall and be injured by the falling top rail.Name of Product: Arch Swing and Arch Swing Add-A-BayUnits: About 1,500Manufacturer: Playworld Systems Inc., of Lewisburg, Pa.Hazard: The weld between the side arch support and the top rail can fail. The swing sets are made from 2-3/8" steel tubing and come in a variety of solid colors.Sold by: Sales representatives sold the swing sets directly to day care centers and children's learning centers or playgrounds nationwide from February 1998 through May 2004.
